Registration for the 2026 Dünsberg Bike & Gravel Marathon – Celtic Race – is now officially open!
The upcoming edition will be a very special event: Celtic Race celebrates its 20th anniversary and will simultaneously host the 2026 German MTB Marathon Championships. This will make the Dünsberg region the focal point of Germany’s marathon mountain biking scene.
Several top athletes have already confirmed their participation. Among them are Andreas Seewald, the reigning German and European MTB Marathon Champion and Simon Stiebjahn, second of the Cape Epic who are competing at the Dünsberg.
A special highlight for amateur riders: hobby cyclists and ambitious age-group athletes will have the opportunity to compete on the very same course as the professionals. This unique format allows every participant to experience the atmosphere of a national championship event and directly compare their performance with some of the best riders in the country.
For the anniversary edition, the course concept has been redesigned. The lap distance has been shortened compared to previous years, while the number of laps has been increased. This brings riders through the spectator area more frequently, creating greater excitement, better race dynamics, and a more engaging experience for fans and participants alike.
